The NSW Department of Education has partnered with the National Music Teacher Mentoring Program since the very first pilot program in 2015. We are proud to work together to grow the NMTMP program across metropolitan, regional and remote NSW DET schools.
The NMTMP is open to all K-6 NSW Department of Education schools. In 2023, the 8-session mentoring program will be available in both Semester 1 (program A) and Semester 2 (program B).
This recently created video demonstrates the beautiful mentor-teacher relationships in Yandelora Special School & Gorokan Public School. Hear from participating teachers as they build confidence incorporating music into their classrooms, with our very own mentors Karen Morrow and Kiralee Strahle.
