The NMTMP is growing in the Melbourne Archdiocese Catholic Schools, and we can see why! MACS have created this beautiful video to highlight their program, which is making a difference in the quality of music education in their schools.
Emma Cooper from St Andrew’s School, Clayton South, is one of the teachers to experience the mentoring program. ‘So much of the program was tailored to not just teaching music, but also teaching graduate teachers how to teach’, she said. Working with mentor Susie Davies-Splitter, Emma was coached in how to incorporate songs, dances and instrument activities into the school’s music program.
