The Music in Me teacher mentoring program, founded by Richard Gill AO and led by AYO, mentors primary teachers to confidently deliver music in their classrooms, often in schools where no specialist music teacher is available.

Philanthropic support enables us to reach under-resourced, low-ICSEA, regional and remote schools—ensuring equity of access and igniting a lifelong love of music in children. But the impact doesn’t stop there. Teachers gain new skills, confidence, and joy. Mentors grow as leaders, sharing their expertise while deepening their own professional practice.
