The Indigenous Literacy Foundation (ILF) is proud to present Busking For Change 2025!
This year schools across the country will be learning Country Tells Us When… by teachers from Cable Beach Primary School and adapted into a song by Justine Clarke, Josh Pyke, Dobby and Tehya Makani.
In this session, you can find out more about this musical fundraiser, and join ILF Lifetime Ambassador Justine Clarke in learning Country Tells Us When…. You will leave with everything you’ll need to teach this song to your students. Celebrate Indigenous cultures, stories and languages and learn how to share these knowledges in your classroom.
The Indigenous Literacy Foundation
The Indigenous Literacy Foundation (ILF) is a national charity working with remote Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Communities across Australia. They are Community-led, responding to requests from remote Communities for culturally relevant books, including early learning board books, resources, and programs to support Communities to create and publish their stories in languages of their choice.

Justine Clarke is an acclaimed television, theatre and film actress of stage and screen, an author, TV presenter, song‑writer and producer of her ARIA award winning children’s albums and live touring shows and co‑creator, composer and executive producer of ABCTV’s The Justine Clarke Show. Justine is a proud Lifetime Ambassador for the Indigenous Literacy Foundation (ILF).
