Bring more music to your classroom – and your whole school
Music in Me is a national teacher-mentoring program that pairs experienced music specialists with classroom teachers, building confidence, skills and joy in music teaching.
Research shows our mentoring model boosts teacher confidence and competence, enhances student engagement, and creates lasting change in schools.
Who can get involved
Classroom teachers
Looking to grow your skills in teaching music? Receive one-on-one mentoring and practical classroom support from a specialist.
Music specialists
Want to share your expertise? Become a mentor and help a fellow teacher bring music to life for their students.
Principals
Invest in your teachers and school culture by hosting a mentor. It’s a proven way to build capacity in music education.
Parents and communities
Encourage your school to join. Your advocacy can help bring the program to more children.
How it works
Mentors and teachers work side by side in the classroom across the school year. Each partnership is supported by state-based coordinators and professional learning opportunities.
